INS Kadamba Visit 2026 was a proud and enriching experience for Vidyodaya 77 JD NCC cadets. The contingent visited Karwar Naval Base and explored INS Vikramaditya, gaining valuable insights into naval operations, maritime defence, and the discipline of the Indian Navy.

The NCC Valedictory Function 2024–26 of 77JD Vidyodaya School Sub Unit was conducted with pride and enthusiasm. The ceremony highlighted cadets’ achievements in camps, training, and academics. Prizes and certificates were awarded to meritorious cadets, marking a memorable milestone for the batch.

Rotary Quiz Competition Classes V to X 2025 featured enthusiastic participation from Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi. Students excelled in the written and floor quiz rounds conducted by Rotary Udupi, securing multiple prizes and showcasing academic excellence.

Vidyodayapex-2026, a Philatelic and Numismatic Exhibition, was organised at Vidyodaya Public School as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Dakshina Kannada Philatelic and Numismatic Association and the Decennial celebrations of the Manipal Philately and Numismatic Club, promoting the value of stamp and coin collection among students and visitors.

Kalarava 2026, the annual cultural fest of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 31 January 2026. The event showcased students’ talents through drama, dance, music, traditional art forms, and skill-based presentations, making it a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and teamwork.

Vidyodaya Public School organized a workshop on exam strategies and confidence building for Class 10 students to support effective preparation for the Board examinations. The interactive session focused on stress management, time management, structured study planning, and confidence building, motivating students to face exams with clarity and confidence.

Vidyodaya Group of Institutions, Udupi, celebrated Republic Day 2026 with patriotism and pride. The programme featured flag unfurling, march past, patriotic songs, student speeches, and an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Major G. Balakrishna Shetty, highlighting the values of the Indian Constitution, discipline, and nation-building.

Vidyodaya Public School conducted an academic workshop for Class IX students and their parents on 23rd January 2026. Facilitated by resource person Mr. M. Jaikishan Bhat, the programme focused on time management, bullying, communication skills, stress management, and effective parenting during adolescence, offering valuable insights for holistic student development and mindful parenting.

NCC cadets of Vidyodaya Public School actively participated in the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held at MIT, Manipal. Guided by their ANO, the cadets underwent intensive training including drills, weapon training, physical fitness, and personality development, strengthening leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, organized an industrial visit for Class 9 and 10 Commercial Applications students to Shri Krishna Prasad Cashew Industries, Goliangadi. The visit offered hands-on exposure to cashew processing, from raw material handling to finished products, enriching students’ understanding of industrial operations through real-world learning.

Firing Practice Session, Vidyodaya NCC @ MIT Manipal A firing practice session was conducted today at the MIT Firing Range, Manipal, under the supervision of the 6 Karnataka Naval Unit, Udupi. A total of 25 cadets (comprising 16 JD and 09 JW cadets) from our Vidyodaya Sub Unit actively participated in the session. During the activity, cadets were trained in handling and firing .22 calibre rifles, adhering to all safety protocols and instructions given by the Naval Unit staff

Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi held its Prize Distribution Ceremony on November 7, 2025, celebrating the achievements of students from Grades 6 to 8. The event honored academic toppers and cultural performers for their excellence and all-round development. Proud parents and teachers witnessed students being recognized for their hard work, creativity, and dedication to both studies and co-curricular pursuits.

To mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, an “Ekta Rally” was organized by the District Ministry. The NCC Sub Unit and Scouts & Guides of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi participated with 42 cadets, guided by the Principal, Scout Teachers, and ANO. The rally spread messages of unity and national integration, ending with a pledge to uphold discipline and the ideals of Sardar Patel.c

Madhuban Educational Books organized a Hindi Language Skill Workshop on November 4, 2025, at Srinivasa Saffron Hotel, Mangalore. Teachers from Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi participated actively. Sessions by Mr. Surya Narayan Kunjurayer and Mrs. Seema Gupta enriched Hindi grammar, communication, and presentation skills, concluding with certificates and appreciation.

Vidyodaya Public School proudly celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava on November 1, 2025.
