Vidyodaya Public School NCC Cadets (CATC) 2026 Excel at Combined Annual Training Camp

The NCC cadets of Vidyodaya Public School successfully participated in the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held at MIT, Manipal. Our school was represented by 30 enthusiastic cadets, comprising 13 Junior Division (JD) and 17 Junior Wing (JW) cadets.

During the intensive 10-day camp, the cadets displayed exemplary discipline, dedication, and team spirit. They actively participated in a wide range of activities, including rigorous Physical Training (PT) and Drill sessions, specialized training on the Rowing Simulator, as well as cultural programmes and team-building exercises.

Outstanding Achievements

Sports Excellence

The camp provided an excellent platform for cadets to showcase their sporting talents. Cadet Himani brought great pride to the school by winning three Gold Medals in various sports events. Cadet Rakshan, Cadet Adithri Arun Shetty, and Cadet Nischith also performed remarkably well and secured medals in their respective competitions.

Leadership and RDC Selection

A major highlight of the camp was the exceptional performance of our cadets in leadership activities and RDC selections.

PO Cadet Sumukha Bhat earned the prestigious title of Best Cadet among 300 JD participants and was selected for the First Phase of the Republic Day Camp (RDC) selection process.

PO Cadet Lakshmi Suvarna demonstrated outstanding consistency, leadership qualities, and dedication throughout the camp, earning an official nomination for the RDC selection process.

The entire group represented Vidyodaya Public School with distinction, upholding the values of discipline, leadership, and national service. Their remarkable achievements and exemplary conduct have brought laurels to the school and inspired fellow students.
