The NCC Sub Unit of Vidyodaya Public School celebrated National Sports Day with inter-company sports competitions, tributes to Major Dhyan Chand, and a special felicitation ceremony for students who excelled at state and national-level sporting events.

The 80th Independence Day Celebration was jointly organized by Vidyodaya Public School and Sri Anantheshwara English Medium High School on 15th August 2026. The programme featured flag hoisting, patriotic songs, inspiring speeches, NCC participation, and addresses by distinguished guests, fostering a renewed sense of patriotism, unity, and gratitude for the sacrifices of India's freedom fighters.

The NCC cadets of Vidyodaya Public School achieved remarkable success at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 2026 held at MIT, Manipal. Thirty cadets actively participated in training, sports, leadership activities, and cultural events, bringing laurels to the school through medals, Best Cadet recognition, and RDC selection nominations.

Vidyodaya NCC cadets of the 2024–26 batch have achieved an outstanding 100% pass result in the NCC ‘A’ Certificate Examination. All 35 cadets, including 12 Junior Wing (JW) girls and 23 Junior Division (JD) boys, successfully passed with Alpha (A) Grade, marking a remarkable achievement for the institution and its NCC unit.

Forty NCC cadets from Vidyodaya participated in the "Nasha Mukth Bharath" Walkathon held at Brahmavar on 7 June 2026. Organized by Janaseva Trust in collaboration with the 6 Karnataka Naval Unit NCC, Udupi, the event promoted awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged a healthy, responsible, and drug-free lifestyle among youth.

NCC cadets of Vidyodaya Public School actively participated in the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held at MIT, Manipal. Guided by their ANO, the cadets underwent intensive training including drills, weapon training, physical fitness, and personality development, strengthening leadership, discipline, and teamwork.
