Vidyodaya Public School Annual Day Celebrations 2025

Annual Day is more than a celebration—it is a reflection of our journey, a showcase of our students’ talents, and a promise of a brighter tomorrow. Vidyodaya Public School proudly celebrated its 29th Annual Day on the 24th and 25th of November, 2025.

■ Inaugural Ceremony

The celebrations commenced on the 22nd of November 2025 with the unfurling of the Institution’s flags. The formal inaugural programme was graced by the members of the management—Shri N. Nagaraj Ballal, President of Vidyodaya Trust, and Shri U. Padmaraj Acharya, Treasurer of Vidyodaya Trust—along with the heads of all the institutions. Shri N. Nagaraj Ballal emphasized the significance of the Annual Day in the school calendar and highlighted how such events nurture the school’s values, ethos, and sense of community.

■ High School and Primary Section Annual Day

The Annual Day for High School and Primary Section was held on the 25th of November 2025. The event began with a formal function. The honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Shashi Rashmi Acharya, Associate Dean and Professor, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, along with Shri N. Nagaraj Ballal, President of Vidyodaya Trust, Shri U. Padmaraj Acharya, Treasurer of Vidyodaya Trust and Smt. Anitha P Raj, Principal of Vidyodaya Public School and Heads of all the Institution was ceremoniously welcomed with the powerful beats of chande and escorted to the venue by the Assistant Head Boy, Master Akarsh Bhat.

The Annual Report for the academic year 2025–26 was presented by Smt. Anitha P. Raj, Principal of Vidyodaya Public School. The Head Boy, Master Kailash Kanchan, and the Head Girl, Miss Khyati Bhat, addressed the gathering with confidence and grace. The Chief Guest too shared her valuable insights and motivating words with the audience.

Academic excellence was celebrated with awards presented to the toppers of various subjects in the CISCE Examination 2024–25. The prestigious “Best Outgoing Student” and “Best Student in Academics” awards for the academic year 2025–26 were also conferred on the deserving students.

Students who brought glory to Vidyodaya Public School through their achievements at the national level in sports were also recognised and felicitated for their outstanding performances.

The school further took the opportunity to honour its dedicated teachers. Mrs. Latha Nayak and Mrs. Saku Poojary were felicitated for completing significant years of committed service, while Mr. Sunil Pandeshwar was appreciated for bringing laurels to the institution.

The formal programme was followed by a series of vibrant cultural events. Students of Classes VI–X and later Classes I–V showcased an array of dances, songs, skits, and dramas that celebrated India’s rich cultural heritage. Every performance beautifully reflected the hard work, discipline, and dedication of both students and teachers. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.

In essence, the 29th Annual Day was a grand success. The dedication of the School Management, Principal, teachers, and students made the event truly memorable. It was a celebration of Vidyodaya Public School’s culture, values, and achievements—leaving an everlasting impression on everyone present. The Annual Day continues to remain a cherished tradition, and we eagerly look forward to many more inspiring celebrations in the years to come.
