80th Independence Day Celebration
'Freedom is not given, it is won.' These words remind us that the independence we enjoy today is the result of countless sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Vidyodaya Public School and Sri Anantheshwara English Medium High School had jointly celebrated India's 80th Independence day with great enthusiasm and zeal in Rangamandhira @ 9 am on the 15th of August, 2026.
Dr Prakash was the chief guest of this event with over 15 years of experience in academic and eminent faculty in Management Engineering & Applied Sciences.
The event was also graced by Sri N Nagaraj Ballal, Working President of Vidyodaya Trust, Sri K Ganesh Rao, Secretary of Vidyodaya Trust, Smt Sandhya Karnad, Headmistress of Sri Anantheshwara English Medium High School and Smt Anitha P Raj, Principal of Vidyodaya Public School.
The NCC cadets had escorted the dignitaries to the platform.
The gathering was welcomed by Miss Kannika Bhat of Vidyodaya Public School. It was followed by the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the Chief Guest, escorted by Cadet Sumukha.
School choirs of both the schools stirred the patriotism, hope and a feeling of community and unity through their soulful renditions.
Master Deepak Ashok Shenoy, Headboy of Sri Anatheshwara English Medium High School and Master Mithun of Vidyodaya Public School gave powerful and impactful speeches on this occasion.

Miss Ghanashree G Bhat of Sri Anantheshwara English Medium High School presented the Vote of Thanks.
The Emcee Of the event was Miss Sanvi Prabhu, the Head Girl of Vidyodaya Public School.
