As part of its commitment to holistic and value-based education, Vidyodaya Public School organized a special cultural programme on 17 December 2025. The school had the privilege of hosting the renowned children’s theatre troupe “Marave Marmarave” (Makkala Nataka), a well-known Kannada drama initiative dedicated to spreading social, cultural, and environmental awareness through theatre.


The troupe presented an impactful drama titled “Marave Marmarave,” a stage production based on a poem written by Dr. Chandrashekhara Kambara, the eminent Kannada poet. The performance effectively highlighted themes such as the importance of trees, conservation of nature, social responsibility, and human values. Through expressive acting, meaningful dialogues, music, and visual presentation, the artistes delivered a strong message in a simple yet engaging manner.


Students from various classes attentively watched the performance and gained valuable insights through this creative medium. The programme not only entertained the students but also sensitized them to environmental protection and ethical living. The drama encouraged students to reflect on their role in preserving nature and contributing positively to society.


The Principal, teachers, and students expressed their sincere appreciation to the “Marave Marmarave” children’s theatre troupe for their inspiring and thought-provoking performance. The programme proved to be an enriching and memorable experience, reinforcing the importance of cultural education and social awareness in shaping young minds.
