Paddy Field Visit – Grade X Students Gain Hands-On Agricultural Experience
A trip aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in agriculture, specifically paddy, was conducted on 29th June, 2026. It was a unique experience for the students of Grade X to visit a Paddy Field and learn about paddy farming.
It was organized by Mr Dinesh Poojary, an entrepreneur and social worker. The field belonged to Mr Nagaraj. Students participated in the traditional practice of planting paddy saplings. Sports activities in the slushy waters , such as running race , loop race and tug-of-war added a chaotic level of excitement to the students.
The chief guest for the event was Mr Vijaya Kumar Mudradi. He spoke about importance for preserving agricultural lands. He also said how every grain of rice matters because it represents an immense investment of human labor, vital natural resources like water, and deep cultural history.
The visit was an eye-opening experience. By the end of the day, the students expressed enthusiasm and a positive experience from the hands-on activity, gaining a new appreciation for agricultural work.
