Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed with reverence and patriotism at Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, on Friday, 26th July by the students and teachers of the Pre-Primary Section. The day commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil War of 1999 to protect our nation.

Teachers explained the significance of the day in simple words, helping the young minds understand the value of courage, duty, and patriotism. A short video presentation and age-appropriate storytelling were conducted to help children grasp the concept of national pride and respect for the armed forces.

Children participated in various activities such as drawing the national flag, coloring soldiers, and singing patriotic songs. The atmosphere was filled with emotion, pride, and gratitude.

The celebration served as a gentle introduction to the heroic efforts of our soldiers and helped instill a sense of respect and love for the country in the young hearts.
