Distribution of ‘A’ Certificate to NCC Cadets

The NCC Sub Unit of Vidyodaya Public School conducted a formal event on 26th July 2025 to distribute the ‘A’ Certificates to cadets who successfully completed their training and examinations under the Junior Division/Junior Wing (JD/JW) program.

The objective of the event was to recognize and honour cadets who exhibited exceptional dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm throughout their NCC journey. These cadets were awarded the prestigious ‘A’ Certificate by the National Cadet Corps.

A total of 22 cadets received their ‘A’ Certificates during the ceremony. The event included cadets sharing their experiences and learnings from various NCC activities, including drills, camps, social service, and leadership development programs.

This significant milestone was made possible due to the strong support and encouragement extended by the Madam Principal Anitha P Raj and the School Management, who have always promoted co-curricular excellence alongside academics. The NCC Caretaker was given full freedom and backing to organize and conduct the event smoothly and successfully.

The distribution of the ‘A’ Certificates marked the successful completion of the cadets’ first phase in NCC and acknowledged their potential for future leadership and service. The event also served as an inspiration for junior cadets to take up training with greater enthusiasm and pride.

The VPS NCC Sub Unit remains committed to nurturing discipline, patriotism, and leadership among its students with the continued guidance of the school authorities and structured NCC training.
