The Investiture Ceremony of our school, Vidyodaya Public School was held with great zeal and enthusiasm on 11th July, 2026 at Rangamandhira marking the formation of the new Student Council for the academic year. The ceremony, attended by students, teachers, and parents, was a memorable occasion highlighting the school's commitment to fostering leadership and responsibility among its students.

It was under the supervision of the Principal Mrs.Anitha P Raj. The ceremony commenced with the march past of the cabinet ministers , evoking a sense of comradery along with the school band being played symphonically. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, a tradition symbolizing the removal of darkness and the spread of knowledge. It was performed by the Principal, coordinators, grade IX and X teachers and the Physical Education instructors. The gathering was welcomed by Miss Siya Poojary.

The cabinet members were conferred with badges and sashes by the Principal and teachers.The Principal administered the oath of office. Students pledged to uphold the school's motto and discharge their duties with integrity and impartiality. The event was marked by the oath taking ceremony followed by impactful speeches given by the Head boy, Head Girl, Asst Discipline leader, and the house leader.The Principal congratulated the Cabinet and addressed them and the gathering. The coordinator of 9th and 10th, Mrs Saku, Mrs Deepa, Mr Vasu Naika and Mr Sunil were in charge of the smooth functioning of the events.

The Emcee of the event was Miss Yuktha Bhat .The list of the Cabinet ministers was read out by Master Sambrum Shetty. The Vote Of Thanks was delivered by Miss Avni Shenoy.

The event concluded with the National Anthem.
