Student elections are an essential part of school and college life. Beyond being an academic ritual, these elections play a vital role in shaping young minds, building leadership qualities, and laying the groundwork for a healthy democratic society. At a time when global democracies are facing challenges, empowering students through elections becomes even more crucial
The Annual School Election for the session 2026-27 was held at Rangamandhira, Vidyodaya Public School on 13th June, 2026.
The program began with a brief motivational speech by the Principal, Mrs Anitha P Raj. The election was held for the posts of House leaders, Asst. House Leaders, Asst sports Leaders, Health and Hygiene Leaders, and Cultural Leaders. Nominees were selected and judged on their class performance, co-scholastics, participation in school events, individual efforts and initiatives, general attitude and behaviour, and speech. Students from grade 9 and 10 took an active part in the selection process. The potential nominees were declared to the members of each house for the posts made available.

The entire procedure went on smoothly under the supervision of IX and X coordinator, Mrs Saku Poojary and the PE teachers, Mrs Deepa and Mr Sunil .
