RAAGRANG 2025 - AICS Inter-School Competition

Vidyodaya Public School hosted  “RAAGRANG -2025 MELODY MEETS COLOUR, CULTURE MEETS SOUL” - AICS Inter-School Competition, which saw an impressive turnout of 292 participants from 27 schools, accompanied by 34 teachers. The event aimed to foster creativity, talent, and healthy competition among students.

The inaugural function was graced by Chief Guest Dr. B. Bhaskara Rao. Dr. Rao, along with our Principal, Mrs. Anitha Prabhat Raj, lit the lamp, marking the commencement of the event. The Chief Guest and Principal addressed the gathering, setting the tone for the event.

The competition was divided into two categories: Junior and Senior.

Junior Category

1. Sur Sangram - The Musical Jugalbandi Sync 2025: A musical competition that tested students' instrumental skills.

2. Sync 2025 – Solo Contemporary Dance: Students showcased their contemporary dance skills, expressing themselves through movement and expression.

3. Nakshatra Parva - Lantern Making: Students demonstrated their creativity and fine motor skills through lantern making.

Senior Category

1. Nritya Roopaka - Dance Drama; Students performed dance dramas, combining storytelling, dance, and acting.

2. Trash to Treasure - Fancy Dress: Students created innovative costumes from recycled materials, showcasing their creativity and resourcefulness.

3. Pottery - Picasso - Pot Painting: Students demonstrated their artistic skills through pot painting, creating unique and imaginative designs.

The valedictory function was graced by Chief Guest Sri. Vincent D'Costa, Principal of Sharada Residential School, Udupi. During the function, trophies were distributed to the winners, and championship trophies were awarded to the overall winners and runner-up. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, congratulating the winners and participants.

The AICS Inter-School Competition was a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity. We thank our Principal and Management Committee for their support and guidance, which was instrumental in the event's success. Vidyodaya School's commitment to quality education and holistic development was evident in the event's organization and execution.
