Aatidonji Dina at Vidyodaya Public School

The Pre-Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, celebrated Aatidonji Dina on Saturday, 16th August.
The programme began with a warm welcome by the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Smt. Latha R. Nayak, who explained the significance of the Aati month. The Master of Ceremony was little Anayra Shetty, who compered the event in Tulu and briefed the gathering about Aatidonji Dina, the traditional food eaten during this season, and its health benefits.
Smt. Anitha P. Raj, principal was welcomed in the traditional Tuluva way by offering betel leaves and areca nut. This was followed by vibrant dance performances by the children, dressed in traditional attire, taught and guided by their class teachers. Parents thoroughly enjoyed watching their children perform, capturing the memorable moments.
In addition to the cultural performances, classroom activities related to the occasion were also conducted for the children. The programme concluded with Vidhatri delivering the vote of thanks in Tulu.
The celebration was a wonderful blend of culture, tradition, and joy, leaving everlasting memories for both children and parent's of Vidyodaya P U College, Udupi
