Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration – Pre-Primary Section
The Pre-Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School observed Kargil Vijay Diwas to help young children understand the importance of our brave soldiers and the sacrifices they make to keep our nation safe.
Teachers gave an age-appropriate explanation about the Kargil War of 1999, sharing how the Indian Armed Forces courageously defended our country's borders and emerged victorious. The children were also told that soldiers work day and night, often in difficult weather conditions, to protect us and ensure that we live peacefully and safely.
To reinforce the learning, the children participated in a colouring activity based on Kargil Vijay Diwas. They enthusiastically expressed their gratitude by saying "Thank You, Soldiers!" and proudly gave a salute to honour the brave heroes of our nation.
