International Yoga Day at Vidyodaya Public School Udupi

On June 21, 2025, Vidyodaya Public School marked International Yoga Day with great fervour and enthusiasm. A special yoga session was held at 9:10 am, bringing together students from Class I toClass X for a rejuvenating experience.

The program commenced with a soulful prayer, setting a serene tone for the session. This was followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony, graciously officiated by esteemed guests from Patanjali, including Mrs. Vedavati, Mrs. Shubhodha, and Mrs. Shyamala, along with the Principal, Mrs. Anitha P Raj, and Coordinators.

The Patanjali team led the students through various yoga asanas, providing expert guidance and personalized attention to ensure that students mastered the postures. The instructors' expertise and patience helped students understand the importance of proper alignment, breathing, and relaxation. To cater to the diverse needs of students across different grades, batch-wise sessions were conducted. Students from Class I to Class X participated enthusiastically, learning and practicing yoga postures tailored to their age and ability.

The yoga session aimed to instill a sense of discipline, focus, and well-being among students. By incorporating yoga into their lives, students can expect numerous benefits, including:

- Overall well-being and inner peace

The event concluded with a heartfelt address from the Principal, Mrs. Anitha P Raj. She highlighted the significance of yoga in modern life, emphasizing its role in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The Principal encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily routine, reaping its numerous benefits.

The International Yoga Day celebration at Vidyodaya Public School was a testament to the institution's commitment to fostering holistic development among its students.
