World Blood Donor Day Celebration

On Wednesday, 18th June 2025, the Pre-Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi observed World Blood Donor Day with great enthusiasm. The teachers conducted engaging and age-appropriate classroom activities to help children understand the importance of this significant day.

Children were sensitized about the value of donating blood, why it is important, and what happens when someone donates blood. Basic concepts about blood and blood groups were also introduced in a simplified manner to spark curiosity and awareness at an early age.

The celebration aimed to instill empathy, social responsibility, and the spirit of helping others in young minds. It was a meaningful learning experience for the little ones.
