Entertainment Day UKG Section 2026 Celebration at Vidyodaya Public School


The UKG Section of Vidyodaya Public School celebrated Entertainment Day on Saturday, 21st February, 2026, with great enthusiasm and joy.

 

The Pre-Primary Coordinator, Smt. Latha R. Nayak, welcomed the gathering. The programme was conducted successfully under the guidance of the Principal, Smt. Anitha P. Raj.

 

The programme commenced with a prayer by the UKG students. The welcome speech was delivered by Maanya of UKG-C.

 

Each class presented various concepts taught during the academic year.

 

UKG-A:The students presented a skit paying tribute to Indian freedom fighters, the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and community helpers. They also performed a patriotic dance.

 

UKG-B:The students presented a skit on the Solar System, recited rhymes, and performed Thali Yoga.

 

UKG-C:The students enacted the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’, performed a skit on books and mobile phones, and demonstrated classroom rules through an action song.

The children also showcased their special talents, including:

  • Identification of national symbols

  • Naming the capitals of India and Indian states

  • Identification of car models from pictures

  • Classical dance performance

  • Identification of birds and animals

  • The story of the Ramayana

  • Identification of countries, capitals, and their monuments

  • Karate kata skills

  • Shloka recitation

 

The parents thoroughly enjoyed watching their children perform and appreciated their confident stage presence.

 

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Vijay Driti of UKG-B Section. Later, fun-filled games were conducted for both parents and students. Everyone participated enthusiastically, and the winners were awarded trophies.
