An Election Activity was successfully conducted on 25 February 2026 for the Class V students with the objective of creating awareness about the democratic election process and the importance of voting in a democracy. The activity aimed to provide students with practical knowledge of how elections are organized and conducted in a systematic and fair manner.
To make the learning experience more realistic and engaging, an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was used. This hands-on approach helped students clearly understand the voting procedure, secrecy of the ballot, and the role of election authorities.
Before the commencement of voting, students were briefed about the concept of elections, the responsibilities of various officials involved, and the importance of following rules and discipline during the process. The classroom was arranged to resemble a real polling station.
