Annual Sports Day @Vidyodaya Vidyalaya

The Annual Sports Day Inauguration activity of the Pre-Primary Section of Vidyodaya Public School, Udupi, was held in Sri Vishwesha Theertha Rangamandira on Thursday, 16th October, with great excitement and enthusiasm.

The programme began with a warm welcome by the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Smt. Latha R. Nayak. The students of UKG presented a well-coordinated march past, commanded by Aarya Santhosh Poojary of UKG. The sports torch was carried by LKG and UKG students, who took a round of the ground and handed it over to the Principal, Smt. Anitha P. Raj. The Principal then lit the torch, marking the official opening of the Sports Day.

An energetic mass drill dance was performed by the students of Sri Krishna Shishumandira, LKG, and UKG, adding colour and liveliness to the event. The Principal congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to always play with true sportsmanship.

Various fun-filled and age-appropriate games were then conducted for the students:

Sri Krishna Shishumandira: Frog Race, Running Race, and Musical Chair

LKG: Running Race, Jumping over the Cone, and Frog Jump

UKG: Ball Balancing on the Cup, Book Balancing, and Bombing the City

The children participated with great enthusiasm and joy. The entire day was filled with fun, laughter, and sportsmanship, making it a memorable and successful event for everyone.
